Mike Weccardt appointed CEO of Britax

March 28, 2019 – Britax, the leading global child safety product manufacturer, today announces that Mike Weccardt has been appointed CEO of Britax Group as of April 15, 2019.

Mike Weccardt is an internationally experienced executive with extensive consumer goods knowledge, a strong track record and a clear focus on customer needs.

Previous experience includes senior leadership positions in global consumer businesses such as Nike, Douglas and Ernsting´s Family as well as from holding interim senior management positions for over 10 years in both Europe and the US, including AWG, Versandhaus Walz Group and Gibson.

Mike Weccardt succeeds Alexander Lacik who announced his resignation in February 2019 to assume the role of CEO at Pandora. Alexander Lacik will support the transition to new leadership over the coming weeks.
